The Minority Mental Health Project is dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for Black and Brown communities. Our mission is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and ensure that individuals from all backgrounds have access to culturally responsive mental health care.
The Minority Mental Health Project is raising funds for our Annual Scholarship Fund
It truly takes a village!
In our efforts to bring more diversity to the mental health profession and improve the quality of mental health care provided in structurally marginalized areas, we are excited to award up to $2,000 in merit-based scholarships to five racially minoritized students who possess a strong desire to make a significant impact in the mental health field. In addition to providing critical mental health services today, we understand the need to reinforce financial support for tomorrow’s leaders. The scholarship is open to Eligible individuals from BIPOC groups seeking a degree or certificate in psychology, counseling, social work, or any other related field. MMHP Scholarship Fund will award merit-based scholarships to selected candidates who complete the application process and meet specific criteria. The MMHP Scholarship Fund aligns with the organization's overall vision and interests and contributes to the trajectory of providing culturally appropriate mental health care to targeted populations.*Will provide tax letter on request.
